with all of the recent press comment around tips and service charges, we thought that you might like to know how we do things …


• all of the tips and gratuities, whether cash, cheque or credit card, left by customers go to the staff and are shared on a basis agreed by the staff.
• no deductions are made from tips or gratuities, other than tax where required by law
• we always pay national minimum wage or higher and do not use tips or gratuities to top wages up. also we do not impose a service charge
