wagamama will pass on the full vat reductions to customers!

as of 1 december, wagamama has amended their food and drink prices to pass on the full benefit of the new 15% vat rate

bills and receipts issued to customers will now show the total price with the reduced vat amount*. even though customers will benefit from the reduced pricing from 1 december, due to the short notice, wagamama will not be able to update the actual menus on wagamama.com and across our 65 uk restaurants in time for the change

“as you would expect, we want to pass on the vat reduction to our customers immediately. due to the short notice we have been unable to update the actual menus in time but rest assured, the final price charge will be in line with the new 15% vat rate. we endeavour to have the new menus with the revised pricing in our restaurants in the new year,” says wagamama ceo steve hill

wagamama will communicate the price change both in the restaurant and on wagamama.com. in the restaurant they will have posters notifying customers that they will receive the full benefit of the vat reduction. in addition, their wagamama servers will be fully briefed to discuss the changes with customers
